Finishing Toolpath

The finishing toolpath is used to remove the remaining material from the material. This is done to produce a smooth surface finish.

The finishing toolpath has two main parameters that you need to set:

  • Tool - The tool that you will use to cut the material
  • Raster Angle - This is the angle at which the tool moves during each pass. A value of 0 will move the tool in the X direction, a value of 90 will move the tool in the Y direction.

More Settings​

By default, the toolpath will be created using the settings from the tool database. You can override these settings by using the 'More Settings' button.
