Toolpaths
This step allows you to select the toolpath strategies you need to cut your model.
Toolpaths are the paths that a tool takes to cut material. They are the result of a toolpath strategy, which is a set of rules that determine how the tool moves through the material.
- Roughing: removes the bulk of the material
- Finishing: removes the remaining material to get a smooth surface finish
- Cutout: cuts the part out of the material
