Feeds & Speeds

Feeds and speeds data is defined for a given tool, material, and machine combination.

Adding Feeds & Speeds Data

To add feed and speed data use the 'Add Feeds & Speeds' button on the feeds and speeds table for the tool you wish to add data for. To add feeds and speeds you will need to select a material and a machine. Once selected you can then enter the feed and speed parameters for the tool.

EasyCarve will automatically choose some conservative values for feeds and speeds data. You should not rely on these values for cutting, but instead, you should use them as a starting point for your own feeds and speeds.

Click the 'Add Entry' button to save the cutting data.
